We often have what we intend to achieve in a month, week, or even a day, but it can become overwhelming if not properly broken down into bits. I want to read a book in six months; it could be as simple as allotting 30 minutes to 3 pages daily rather than just the chuck sight of reading the book all at once.

Breaking down goals allows for achievability and accountability, eliminating pressure and stress. It also ensures a high chance of fulfilling the objective and allotting time to them helps you stay on track, providing order and more focus on every task.

We are faced with beeps from the new notifications on our phones and timeless wandering on various social media platforms, which are readily available at our disposal. Watching TV and hanging out is also a thing.

 Engaging in these activities is not entirely wrong, but setting boundaries is all that matters to getting things done. These could include placing these gadgets far away, using some application to restrict your usage on various social media platforms, or tracking this time spent using apps like Forest or Freedom. Minimizing these distractions helps us stay focused, making us more productive, hence yielding great results and output, and also enhancing the confidence of your team members or consumers in you.

We do not need to attend to everything brought to us. Having a clear understanding of one’s priorities gives a clear direction on the things that we should focus on getting done and the things we need to let go of.
